Cesar Perez is an author of a book titled, “Chase the Light, The Gruesome Art of Becoming Unbreakable," as he has a new passion to guide others through pain, suffering, and darkness.
Cesar was an upcoming star in the entertainment industry. After graduating from Georgia Southern University in 2015, where he studied multimedia communications and music performance, his determination brought him various contract work as the lead graphic designer for several feature films. He was cast as Pablo in a lead role starring opposite Daniel Radcliffe in the Beast of Burden and also did graphic design work for that film. Cesar was cast as another lead character, Javier, in Blind Trust in 2017.
In January of 2018, a drunk driver slammed into his car head-on. After getting hit by the drunk driver, he was spun 180 degrees toward oncoming traffic, which is when a big rig hit him and dragged him for a bit, leaving him encased in a pile of twisted metal.
A severe brain injury had left him almost entirely incapacitated. His right arm was paralyzed. His femur had snapped in two. His face was shattered. He spent months learning how to breathe, eat, walk, and talk all over again. And then, on top of it all, his girlfriend who he was determined was the woman of his dreams, left him.
