Interview with Joe Potosi. He has an amazing and powerful story as a survivor. His father abandoned him, his siblings, and his mother when he was 3 and over the next fifteen years, he experienced things that you wouldn't wish upon your enemies. The physical and emotional abuse that he endured from his mother and step father had left him shattered, broken, and periodically ready to commit suicide. His story shows the power of the human spirit and the will to survive, no matter the circumstances. He has a message that provides hope and is asking America to work together to at least have an impact on child abuse. Please check out his website at https://joepotosi.com/

From Joe Potosi: As the title (“When the dust settled”) evokes an image of calm after a storm. The story in the pages of this book chronicle my struggle and extreme hardships (social economic, environment, relational and other). It will take you on a real life journey. This is really a story of tenacity, resilience, introspection, redemption and forgiveness, and ultimately triumph over these hardships inspire all that I endured after the dust settled I was still standing.
