Ryan Dusick M.A, AMFT. Author, Speaker, Therapist. Founding Drummer of Maroon 5 Recovery Ecosystem Presents High While Clean

Join us as we speak with Ryan Dusick who was the founding drummer for Maroon 5.

They released their debut album, Songs About Jane, in June 2002. The album peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 charts and went quadruple platinum in 2005.

In that same year, the band won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Ryan released a book last year titled harder to breath.

This story, takes you on the journey of success—the grueling demands that come with it—as well as his struggles with anxiety and addiction after he left the band.

Ryan had a major struggle he faced. He was a drummer unable to drum due to chronic nerve damage.

After years of battling with heavy drinking and dealing with depression, he decided to go back to school and become a therapist. It is a powerful story of disappointment, grief and loss, and hope.
