Less than three weeks after the 1961 attack on the Freedom Riders. Henry Lyon Jr., Montgomery's most prominent pastor, gave a speech before the local white Citizens' Council, denouncing the civil rights protesters and the cause for which protesters were beaten which was from a "Christian" perspective.
We will discuss some of the most devout believers of Jesus Christ's argument about who thy neighbor is. These Christians go by the Ku Klux Klan. We have a lot of fun talking about some of the most ridiculous arguments of hate and the bible.
Walk a Mile in My shoes is an open discussion trying to bring the world together by understanding each other. We want to walk a mile in your shoes and hope you can walk a mile in our shoes. I agree that a mile is a long walk but maybe we can learn to love instead of hate.
