Aisha is the picture of courage. Immediately after High School, she decides to go to a rave and took ecstasy which would forever impact her. She spoke out for many years and educating young kids about those things that are never discussed among our peers. What is cool? Aisha is going to share how uncool it really was.
It was supposed to be a couple of days of fun. As she says, it was one decision that nearly killed her. She was in a coma for 2 months before waking up and learning that she had multiple strokes as a result of what she took causing permanent brain damage that has impacted her speech and balance. She is a beautiful woman, with an equally beautiful heart that spent many years putting her hands out. We don't see enough of the advocay that she pursued to help spread the message. All drugs can be dangerous and I encourage everybody to consider what will happen, might happen, or could happen because, as Aisha learned, you will pay the price whether you like it or not.
The principle ingredient of ecstasy should be MDMA, although this isn’t always the case.. I can't impress upon everyone to really consider what you are taking and the worst part today is that you will not know completely until after you take it. The scary part is that even then, you may never know if you don't survive. Aisha was lucky because most times, when something similar like this happens, most do not. You could have it tested in a lab, but how often does that happen?
